Lee Parkinson has had a rich and varied creative industry career to date and we’re delighted that he’s joined Plato Creative in a Marketing Director capacity.

Lee Parkinson has had a rich and varied creative industry career to date and we’re delighted that he’s joined Plato Creative in a Marketing Director capacity.

Lee’s credentials speak for themselves. An internationally awarded creative and media strategist, he has built a rich and effective career based on the principles of understanding both client and consumer needs.

He has worked on both agency and client-side over the years. In his 20 year career within agencies, he’s navigated some of the defining brand and business challenges alongside the likes of Kiwibank and New Zealand Post, to name a couple.

He is fascinated by the irrationality of people and how they make (or don’t make) decisions. He helps clients understand the impact that has on their business, marketing, advertising and digital strategies by helping find ways to ‘match’ channel with message, to make it as meaningful and authentic as possible for each stakeholder audience.

His recent clients have included Coca Cola, Kordia, MBIE, the Prime Minister’s Chief Scientific Advisor, Health Promotion Agency, Kiwi Property Group, Pacific Edge, Qantas Australia and Summerset Retirement Group.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Chartered Marketer and member of the Institute of Directors, Lee brings a strong strategic weight to the business.

He’s also a bloody good chap - which is key to being part of the team here at Plato.
