The owners many have had a proven background in exquisite Italian cuisine, but Casa Nostra restaurant was a new player to the dining scene. Casa Nostra means “Our Home”, which is where we drew our inspiration from, creating a brand identity and supporting collateral with a strong Italian link, and a fresh, homemade, relaxed, family oriented vibe.
With its focus on homemade, we wanted to utilise a number of design elements that could reinforce this overarching thought. This began with the logo lockup, which was designed using a unique handwritten script. For marketing collateral, the imagery was intentionally chosen that demonstrated the ‘hands-on’ approach of the eatery, whilst natural design elements, such as wood, were used as a primary material across signage.
The main messaging drew on the unique, Italian family at-home dining style, where it is all about eating fresh food made for sharing.
