Caythorpe Family Estate came to us as an established but relatively unknown name in winemaking. They were looking to create a brand that not only provided a strong sense of style and competitive advantage, but one that drew on the substantial farming history of five generations of the family.
We built a recognisable, modern brand that channels the heritage of the family and their land. To create the logo marque we gained inspiration from the client’s handwriting, adjusting slightly for better readability and a modern audience. A subtle texturing was also used to create an impression of age and history.
We also incorporated the shape of the Caythorpe Estate block in the packaging to create bold cut-through amongst the myriad of labels on the shelf and used historical photography to convey an established quality.
At the same time as rebranding, we developed a user-friendly, mobile responsive e-commerce website for Caythorpe to effectively capture the online market and quickly convert interest into sales.
