Ihi Research came to us for a website rebuild, but before doing that they needed to update the look and feel of their brand and refresh their positioning to better explain their offering.
Ihi Research work with private companies, trusts, government agencies, NGOs etc to help enact positive change by providing research analysis in the form of actionable insights and recommendations. They are specialists in their niche field of social research with particular expertise in Māori research.
With a strategic approach to brand, we re-designed Ihi Research’s logo and developed clearer brand messaging. While not wanting to be pigeon holed to Māori focused research, it was important the brand spoke to this and their wider target of the whole community.
The result is a contemporary colour palette, people focused imagery and a carefully selected library of whakatauki (proverbs) to be called on for messaging.
