Harnessing Christmas to energise Facebook

A leading power generator, Meridian Energy is also New Zealand’s fourth largest power retailer. However, their Facebook audience did not reflect their customer base – with a limited number of likes and low engagement.

In order to boost audience and engagement, we created a competition campaign that had a low barrier to entry. We tapped into the twelve days of Christmas with 12 days of awesome prizes to be won.
