With a change of ownership came an opportunity to rebrand the iconic Nor’Wester café in north Canterbury. The new style had to carry across a range of assets, including website, stationary, menus, loyalty cards and signage.
Where better to draw inspiration than from the local environment? We looked to evoke images of those summer days with warm winds blowing across the Canterbury Plains and a colour palette drawn from the landscape. The logo itself was hand-drawn to emulate those famous winds. Imagery was specifically chosen to reflect the ‘gate-to-plate’ philosophy of the Nor’Wester menu.
